Our Rooftop Guesthouse is surrounded by a lot of different things for the active ones! 

Golf- and padel courts, kayaking, stand up paddle tours and rentals, kitesurfing center, surfing, yoga and a lot of different trails for hiking. Together with our friends we have named some of our favorite trails here, for example the little flamingo hike. Hiking information and maps are available free of charge in our reception. 

A short drive from our Rooftop Guesthouse you’ll also find Algarves highest mountain Foia. This is a famous area for bicycling and hiking. Make sure to stop by the picturesque town Monchique!

Interested in winetasting? We got local wineyards only a short ride from our Rooftop Guesthouse. One of them is even named after our town, Villa Alvor!

Sunday market in Alvor is highly worth a visit if you’re in town that day of the week. Local farmers gather in the harbour to sell their vegetables, fruits and homemade sweets. Don’t miss out to try their homemade marinated olives!
