Praia de Alvor
This 4km beach is only a 900m walk from our Rooftop Guesthouse. Praia de Alvor is a beautiful wide beach with restaurants located on the sand dunes next to the beach. Praia de Alvor also offers high cliffs and small hidden beaches in between.
Ria de Alvor
Ria de Alvor is a beautiful lagoon right in front of our guesthouse. It houses a marina where you can go for daily adventures on the sea; such as fishing, watching wild dolphins or exploring hidden cliffs. This is the spot where we kitesurf during our free time. It’s actually the lagoon that made us explore Alvor in the first place!
Wide range of outdoor activities
Within walking distance from Rooftop Guesthouse you will find a kitecenter, stand up paddle board rentals, padel courts and lots of boat trips. With a short car ride you can also try skydiving, wave surfing, bicycling in the mountains or hike next to the cliffs. We’re happy to guide you through all the options!
